Help planning your wedding

I was talking with a bride-to-be last night and she was saying how overwhelming it is to plan a wedding. Each vendor interviewed is hoping to be hired, but she didn't know how to sort through all of the information. I don't pretend to be a wedding expert, but I suggested a few basic questions that she could ask and that seemed to put her more at ease.

Then, I got to thinking that there is a wealth of free planning advice on some of the national wedding sites, such as www.theknot.com, or www.mywedding.com. They have time tables to use as a guide in creating an overall wedding plan. They also offer a free personal website for couples to share information with guests about the wedding and reception sites, the gift registry, things to do in the area as well as their home address after the wedding. Weddings are often quite costly, so I suggest you take advantage of all the FREE services available online. Good luck!
