Most of Minnesota is locked in a winter snow storm today and likely the weekend, but some creatures are stirring, especially this moose! Maybe Santa should abandon the reindeer for a team of moose? Not sure how this one would look with a red nose? (taken along Highway 9. this young female was only about 25 yards from the road -- and yes, the land is that flat in NW Minnesota)
The snow has stopped momentarily, so enjoy a look at the "icing" on our Christmas landscape.
