fall foliage time!

The Maples trees have begun turning amber and orange. The Sumak is going red as well, so despite the heat that continues in the Twin Cities, there are definite signs of fall. Time to schedule your sessions to take advantage of our beautiful Autumn colors.

"the birthday girl and her cousin"

We celebrated the first birthday of the youngest member of our extended family last weekend. She had a fun party, complete with music and a face painter. A little dancing, a little eating and a lot of hugs from her guests, then some alone time with her Great Aunt for some photos.

Her cousin, an experienced 2 1/2 year old, had her face painted at the party (here she is in the dress that matched the birthday girl...) She wasn't "into posing" the next day, but it's a good thing her Great Aunt is kind of sneaky about getting some good photos.
